Moving companys are very complicated, we've only used them one time, otherwise we pack and drive it ourself. Furthest was a 6 hr. move.Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00848965162192075164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4850153236975606726.post-59063675755567497742009-12-19T19:33:27.151-07:002009-12-19T19:33:27.151-07:00I worked for the same airline your husband is with...I worked for the same airline your husband is with and after 17 years said goodbye before the merger. I hated moving from state to state and even did a brief stint in Narita, I don't miss it and that seems like a whole other life time now.

Moving companies are a rip off, but moving around so much just gets to be so much. I'm sorry this move is going badly, but have faith girl. You are resilient enough to endure the lifestyle, some of that stupid stuff comes with it. Good luck and don't let anything rob you of your Christmas joy.

MayNikia, May and da kidshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07195160857516366137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4850153236975606726.post-20875693592051749332009-12-19T09:45:10.904-07:002009-12-19T09:45:10.904-07:00That SUCKS. I hope they make this situation right.

We've gotten fairly creative with our moves in the past couple years as well. Our move from Ft. Lauderdale nearly killed hubby....he'd fly down on his days off than drive a rental minivan stuffed to to capacity back the Atlanta, but it cost us about less than $500 including gas. Utah's a little too far to pull that off.

I've become very conservative about buying anything for the house. I have a phobia about excess "stuff" now. Just more to move later!Nullhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13104978798049257495noreply@blogger.com
